      MySQL5.6 PERFORMANCE_SCHEMA 說明

      背景:

            MySQL 5.5開始新增一個(gè)數(shù)據(jù)庫:PERFORMANCE_SCHEMA,主要用于收集數(shù)據(jù)庫服務(wù)器性能參數(shù)。并且?guī)炖锉淼拇鎯?chǔ)引擎均為PERFORMANCE_SCHEMA,而用戶是不能創(chuàng)建存儲(chǔ)引擎為PERFORMANCE_SCHEMA的表。MySQL5.5默認(rèn)是關(guān)閉的,需要手動(dòng)開啟,在配置文件里添加:

      這里需要說明的是需要查看哪個(gè)就更新其ENABLED列為YES。如:

      更新完后立即生效,但是服務(wù)器重啟之后又會(huì)變回默認(rèn)值,要永久生效需要在配置文件里添加:

      即在這些表的前面加上:performance_schema_consumer_xxx。表setup_consumers里面的值有個(gè)層級(jí)關(guān)系:

      global_instrumentation > thread_instrumentation = statements_digest > events_stages_current = events_statements_current = events_waits_current > events_stages_history = events_statements_history = events_waits_history > events_stages_history_long = events_statements_history_long = events_waits_history_long

      只有上一層次的為YES,才會(huì)繼續(xù)檢查該本層為YES or NO。global_instrumentation是最高級(jí)別consumer,如果它設(shè)置為NO,則所有的consumer都會(huì)忽略。其中history和history_long存的是current表的歷史記錄條數(shù),history表記錄了每個(gè)線程最近等待的10個(gè)事件,而history_long表則記錄了最近所有線程產(chǎn)生的10000個(gè)事件,這里的10和10000都是可以配置的。這三個(gè)表表結(jié)構(gòu)相同,history和history_long表數(shù)據(jù)都來源于current表。長度通過控制參數(shù):

      3,setup_instruments:配置具體的instrument,主要包含4大類:idle、stage/xxx、statement/xxx、wait/xxx:

      idle表示socket空閑的時(shí)間,stage類表示語句的每個(gè)執(zhí)行階段的統(tǒng)計(jì),statement類統(tǒng)計(jì)語句維度的信息,wait類統(tǒng)計(jì)各種等待事件,比如IO,mutux,spin_lock,condition等。

      4,setup_objects:配置監(jiān)控對(duì)象,默認(rèn)對(duì)mysql,performance_schema和information_schema中的表都不監(jiān)控,而其它DB的所有表都監(jiān)控。

      5,setup_timers:配置每種類型指令的統(tǒng)計(jì)時(shí)間單位。MICROSECOND表示統(tǒng)計(jì)單位是微妙,CYCLE表示統(tǒng)計(jì)單位是時(shí)鐘周期,時(shí)間度量與CPU的主頻有關(guān),NANOSECOND表示統(tǒng)計(jì)單位是納秒。但無論采用哪種度量單位,最終統(tǒng)計(jì)表中統(tǒng)計(jì)的時(shí)間都會(huì)裝換到皮秒。(1秒=1000000000000皮秒)

      1,cond_instances:條件等待對(duì)象實(shí)例

      表中記錄了系統(tǒng)中使用的條件變量的對(duì)象,OBJECT_INSTANCE_BEGIN為對(duì)象的內(nèi)存地址。

      2,file_instances:文件實(shí)例

      表中記錄了系統(tǒng)中打開了文件的對(duì)象,包括ibdata文件,redo文件,binlog文件,用戶的表文件等,open_count顯示當(dāng)前文件打開的數(shù)目,如果重來沒有打開過,不會(huì)出現(xiàn)在表中。

      3,mutex_instances:互斥同步對(duì)象實(shí)例

      表中記錄了系統(tǒng)中使用互斥量對(duì)象的所有記錄,其中name為:wait/synch/mutex/*。LOCKED_BY_THREAD_ID顯示哪個(gè)線程正持有mutex,若沒有線程持有,則為NULL。

      4,rwlock_instances: 讀寫鎖同步對(duì)象實(shí)例

      表中記錄了系統(tǒng)中使用讀寫鎖對(duì)象的所有記錄,其中name為 wait/synch/rwlock/*。WRITE_LOCKED_BY_THREAD_ID為正在持有該對(duì)象的thread_id,若沒有線程持有,則為NULL。READ_LOCKED_BY_COUNT為記錄了同時(shí)有多少個(gè)讀者持有讀鎖。(通過 events_waits_current 表可以知道,哪個(gè)線程在等待鎖;通過rwlock_instances知道哪個(gè)線程持有鎖。rwlock_instances的缺陷是,只能記錄持有寫鎖的線程,對(duì)于讀鎖則無能為力)。

      5,socket_instances:活躍會(huì)話對(duì)象實(shí)例
      表中記錄了thread_id,socket_id,ip和port,其它表可以通過thread_id與socket_instance進(jìn)行關(guān)聯(lián),獲取IP-PORT信息,能夠與應(yīng)用對(duì)接起來。
      event_name主要包含3類:
      wait/io/socket/sql/server_unix_socket,服務(wù)端unix監(jiān)聽socket
      wait/io/socket/sql/server_tcpip_socket,服務(wù)端tcp監(jiān)聽socket
      wait/io/socket/sql/client_connection,客戶端socket

      :Wait表

      1,events_waits_current:記錄了當(dāng)前線程等待的事件

      2,events_waits_history:記錄了每個(gè)線程最近等待的10個(gè)事件

      3,events_waits_history_long:記錄了最近所有線程產(chǎn)生的10000個(gè)事件

      分析具體某條SQL,該SQL在執(zhí)行各個(gè)階段的時(shí)間消耗,通過events_statements_xxx表和events_stages_xxx表,就可以達(dá)到目的。兩個(gè)表通過event_id與nesting_event_id關(guān)聯(lián),stages表的nesting_event_id為對(duì)應(yīng)statements表的event_id;針對(duì)每個(gè)stage可能出現(xiàn)的鎖等待,一個(gè)stage會(huì)對(duì)應(yīng)一個(gè)或多個(gè)wait,通過stage_xxx表的event_id字段與waits_xxx表的nesting_event_id進(jìn)行關(guān)聯(lián)。如:

      通過間接關(guān)聯(lián),我們能分析得到SQL語句在每個(gè)階段的時(shí)間消耗,時(shí)間單位以皮秒表示。這里展示的結(jié)果很類似profiling功能,有了performance schema,就不再需要profiling這個(gè)功能了。另外需要注意的是,由于默認(rèn)情況下events_stages_history表中只為每個(gè)連接記錄了最近10條記錄,為了確保獲取所有記錄,需要訪問events_stages_history_long表
      
      b.查看某個(gè)階段的鎖等待情況
      針對(duì)每個(gè)stage可能出現(xiàn)的鎖等待,一個(gè)stage會(huì)對(duì)應(yīng)一個(gè)或多個(gè)wait,events_waits_history_long這個(gè)表容易爆滿[默認(rèn)閥值10000]。由于select count(*)需要IO(邏輯IO或者物理IO),所以在stage/sql/Sending data階段會(huì)有io等待的統(tǒng)計(jì)。通過stage_xxx表的event_id字段與waits_xxx表的nesting_event_id進(jìn)行關(guān)聯(lián)。

      (2).模擬innodb行鎖等待的例子
      會(huì)話A執(zhí)行語句update test_icp set y=y+1 where x=1(x為primary key),不commit;會(huì)話B執(zhí)行同樣的語句update test_icp set y=y+1 where x=1,會(huì)話B堵塞,并最終報(bào)錯(cuò)。通過連接連接查詢events_statements_history_long和events_stages_history_long,可以看到在updating階段花了大約60s的時(shí)間。這主要因?yàn)閷?shí)例上的innodb_lock_wait_timeout設(shè)置為60,等待60s后超時(shí)報(bào)錯(cuò)了。

      本文通過對(duì)Performance Schema數(shù)據(jù)庫的介紹,主要用于收集數(shù)據(jù)庫服務(wù)器性能參數(shù):①提供進(jìn)程等待的詳細(xì)信息,包括鎖、互斥變量、文件信息;②保存歷史的事件匯總信息,為提供MySQL服務(wù)器性能做出詳細(xì)的判斷;③對(duì)于新增和刪除監(jiān)控事件點(diǎn)都非常容易,并可以改變mysql服務(wù)器的監(jiān)控周期,例如(CYCLE、MICROSECOND)。通過該庫得到數(shù)據(jù)庫運(yùn)行的統(tǒng)計(jì)信息,更好分析定位問題和完善監(jiān)控信息。類似的監(jiān)控還有:
